Wellbeing
At TKAT we offer a range of training opportunities designed to upskill front line staff who are working with some of our most vulnerable children and young people.
We partner with Mable Academy and the National College and we also have Mental Health First Aid England Instructors who are trained to deliver Youth Mental Health Aware, Youth Mental Health Champions and Youth Mental Health First Aid courses.
In addition to this we offer a wide range of in-house workshops and courses including:
- Leading group supervision
- Counselling skills
- Mindfulness
- Line managing wellbeing
- Dealing with Anxiety in the classroom
- Creating personalised wellness action plans for staff and students
- Engaging parents and carers in mental health
- Embedding mental health into the curriculum
- Adult mental health first aid
- Strategic planning for staff wellbeing
